Classic cross-country skiing

All levels

Teens looking for an introduction to classic cross-country skiing or to improve their technique come together for unique skiing sessions, supervised by our specialized Esf Les Rousses instructors.
The 2025/2026 winter season has now come to an end. Thank you very much for your loyalty and trust throughout the winter. The website will be updated this summer, and online sales will begin in mid-October 2026 for the upcoming season.

Level update : "Découverte"  becomes "Débutant", "Intermédiaire" becomes "Classe 1 et 2" (if you are unsure, register for Classe 1; adjustments will be made on the first day), "Confirmé" becomes "Classe 3".

We answer your questions

Are ski pass and insurance included in the lesson price ?
No, the course subscription does not include the ski pass or insurance ! We recommend that you take out insurance, particularly that offered when you purchase online, or check your personal ski insurance.
Do I need a badge to access the slopes ?
Yes, a ski pass is required for all Nordic ski levels.
What equipment ? Is it supplied ?
No, the service does not include equipment. You must rent the necessary equipment in advance :
  • Boots
  • Classic skis
  • Poles.
What clothes should I wear ?
Nordic skiing gets hot very quickly, so make sure your clothing is breathable and not too thick. You can also bring a water bottle.
In case of lack of snow ? 
Please check the home page of our website 2 days before your arrival. We will update information on snow conditions and skiability if necessary. We will do our utmost to ensure that our lessons take place in the best possible conditions, even if the resort is only partially open.

Only if the resort you're interested in is closed due to lack of snow, will we offer to relocate the lessons to a nearby site (La Darbella, Chalet de la Frasse, Bois d'Amont, Le Risoux...). Then, if no site is available, we'll refund you the money you've paid in advance.
